If you want to practice yoga but believe you're too stiff or inflexible, this is the place for you.

I'm Sophie, a qualified Yoga and Somatics teacher, and I help men and women improve their flexibility and release tension through somatic-inspired yoga movements.

I offer private, or two-person sessions, or small group classes.

Most of us are familiar with how some yoga poses can look — but here’s the catch...That ‘polished, perfected’ pose looks and feels different for every single one of us.

I encourage a relaxed, no-pressure approach to yoga. I’ve done the intense stuff — the headstands, the inversions, the pretzel shapes — and while sometimes they can feel great, the real magic happens when we slow down and enjoy what unfolds along the way.

This is the space where our bodies learn to soften, and that’s actually where we build strength and flexibility. It might seem counterintuitive at first, but true strength and flexibility come from a balance of softness and control.

My classes give you the space to practice exactly that. 

🌿What Is Somatics, and how do you blend It with yoga?

Somatics is the practice of tuning in to your inner body experience, a.k.a your felt sense. It’s about noticing how movement feels from the inside, rather than focusing on how it looks from the outside.

Through slow, mindful movements, we create new patterns in the body and nervous system, helping release long-held tension and restore a sense of ease, strength, and balance.

In my Yoga Blend, I weave this somatic awareness into familiar yoga movements. You’ll be guided to sense, pause, and move in ways that feel nourishing and natural, allowing flexibility and stability to emerge organically.

While my Somatic Experience sessions dive deeper into body-based awareness and nervous system regulation (without the structure of yoga poses), the Yoga Blend offers a supportive space to explore movement with awareness and ease — developing relaxation, stability, and flexibility that naturally deepen your yoga practice over time.
